Great performance!

Very happy with the new coil. Quieter in both the dirt and on the beach. The targets sound much crisper, and I was able to run full sensitivity on the wet sand, which I couldn't do before. The only bad news is that I cracked the coil cover taking it off to clean it.

Awesome. Simply awesome.

After much research I decided to get one of these coils for my Simplex+ as I hunt a lot of trashy spots. I thought the Simplex+ was a great machine with the stock coil, but HOLY COW! With the SP24 the Simplex+ goes from Farrari to a Formula One car! The SP24 does go as deep (in some cases deeper) than the stock coil, just with a much more narrow cone of penetration. It REALLY turbo-charges the separation of targets, so it is a must for trashy sites! It is also lighter than the stock coil and, due to its narrow size, it can get into nooks and crannies that a larger coil can't. It does a fantastic job for getting close to chain link fences, flagpoles, bench legs, any vertical metal! I was extremely impressed and happy with the price and shipping speed from WeDig. Andy hooked me up. WeDig is the best! Thanks Andy!

Great coil!

Got my coil about a week ago and have used it a few times. Great quality just like the simplex it goes with. Definitely improves target separation in trashy areas. My first trip I found alot more coins I missed with my standard 11in coil. I haven't noticed any major depth changes yet. The coil also seems to calm down the simplex a bit. It is less chattery even at full sensitivity. It helps the ballance of tbhe machine too. It can be a little different to pinpoint stuff but not bad. I am new to metal detecting and the simplex has been super easy to learn.
